Billy- First of all, keep your pecker up, being knocked back is never nice.

 

Now for the bleeding obvious.

 

You had a 1 in 30 chance of succeeding I make that a 4% ish chance. So the competition was tough and not due to your potential capabilities.

 

I'm a qualified coach (but not the time or in other peoples view the committment) but would advise that you seek to succeed with a club such as Potters Bar or Waltham Forest, who have, all due respect, nothing in terms of supporters. And if you make noises there then the bigger fish will indeed listen.

 

For all that has been said of Steve Browne time at the club, he accumulated similar number of league points than was achieved in the first half of the season, however with a considerably less budget and the introduction of 2-3 of the U18's as well, something which lifts the crowds a bit.

 

Good luck with your next application and maybe you'll put one over us in the future to show what could have been (hope not)

Billy,it won't be the last time the managers position comes up at Town.Maybe in a couple of years time things will be different.And who knows,the person who does eventually get the job this time may just be ringing you up to see if you're interested in a coaching or assistants role.

I did'nt explain that very well, as I was being distracted by workmen in my house.

What I meant was SB has move on up as he has shown his capabilities at a lower level, boom boom, as for cheese, the euro is making dutch cheese very expensive.

I think the board realised they made a mistake not appointing someone who has had proven success at this level the last time and don't want to make the same mistake again.
