Official site returns with news of a departure

Recommended Posts

I'm still faffing around with the Fixtures 08/09 page, so if it looks corrupted or it goes missing, it's intentional. Normal service will be resumed eventually.

Oh, and you may notice that the URLs for the individual articles are now more user friendly and descriptive.

Not happy with Flackie going but that is life. IMO, when fit and on form, he was our best striker. Then again, if he doesn't want to play for us, then there is nothing that the Manager or Chairman can do and I appreciate it that they have done their very best to keep him. Plenty more strikers in the "pool".

Strange that Braintree is his choice considering how he was managed by their (now) Assistant Manger last season.

Best wishes Joe.

Rich the website login is for the web masters only. Which is for the best really. (not that i'm a web master lol)

Back to the thread.

Shame about Flackie but maybe with all that has been happening of late it may be for the best.

A story maybe, but if it was a book and Joe Flack was a librarian, I'm sure he would have placed it in the non-fiction section.

Finding a better club than Billericay is a lot harder that some may think.

Hola TC!

It's the old 'grass is greener' mentality; players could do a lot worse than either of our clubs, but it's all about them being affordable.

Anyway, she's had me shopping this morning and I'm off for a couple of San Miguels now, so I'll give you a call later! - buenos d

I'm optimistic this is fixed now. If anyone gets any alerts from their virus software, please post here with details, or email me at webmaster@billericaytownfc.co.uk .

For what's it worth, although anti-virus software may have been alerting on the site, I don't believe it was a virus that could infect a vistor's machine per se. Can't hurt for everyone to do a full scan though.

Thanks.

Cheers Greavsie. By the way, it's worth doing CTRL-F5 to force your browser to load the latest version of the site. You could be picking up an infected version from your cache. The site looks clean to me at the moment - but it can be hard to find where the malicious code has been hidden, so it might not be clean.

Fecking hackers!
