League organisation, or re-organisation.....

Does anyone actually know if, when the leagues are being drawn up and teams swapped about, if the people doing this take the clubs into consideration?

I only ask as moving Slough and Windsor into separate leagues/divisions would be a clearly stupid and punitive action to both teams. The games these two teams play against each other are often their largest league gates (and if not largest then in the top two or three). This income is necessary and 'big' games like this help immensely. There must be other teams that feel the same, not sure who, but this should surely be taken into consideration?!?!?

Or do they just draw a geographical line on a map and say this is the 'fairest' way to do it?

Just interested really....

It was supposed to be tomorrow but this is on the SL Website:-

Compilation - Appeals to be heard by the Football Association on 26 and 27 May prevent the announcement of the final compilation of Leagues at Steps One to Four of the National League System. It has been confirmed, however, that the following clubs will definitely join the Southern League on promotion from Step 5 - Bedfont Green (Combined Counties League), Biggleswade Town (South Midlands League), Frome Town (Western League), Hungerford Town (Hellenic League), and VTFC (Wessex League).

Yes, I saw that Mal.

The words 'Brewery', 'P1ss-Up' and 'Organise' spring to mind.
