Its good to see Ramsgate V Margate announced again as a pre season friendly with a game at both Southwood, and Hartsdown Park.The Reserves and 1st team play each other on 25th July, and 1st August

Makes sense having these games, hopefully attract a fair attendance at both games too with, hopefully, no need for segregation.

I wonder if the Rams will be doing a programme for the Southwood game. And I wonder if Steve Redford will be brave enough to refer to us as scum in it.

needs to be a decent turnout as it seems like gate are getting a repreive the loss of the thanet derby and dover is going to cost both clubs a bit of money

Agree with you mace,I cant see the sense of not letting the bar open to all after the game,,,,But,do you so called fans turn up to see your team play,or do you just want to get pissed???

Tony, we enjoy the banter with the oppo fans and a drink with them before and after the game ... to me that's a big part of the matchday experience. We don't go looking for trouble , many of us take our kids away with us.

 

To be told you're not welcome in the opposition bar doesn't sit well with me.

Again agree 100%,maybe we at HDP can get this put right so after the game we can all share a bit of banter and show the two Thanet sides CAN have a drink together in friendship.

I agree, it did spoil the atmoshere, such an anti climax, to the end of the season- Bad enough to get relegated, then hearing that we were barred from the bar, was a smack in the teeth,.. i dont blame the fans, its not there fault,as i saw on here there was questions on where we were b4 and after the game, As Mace said, we were in Weatherspoons who were totally caught out when we walked in, and not trouble to them at all, apart from running out of food ..lol..so it may be a summer beano back on the 25th July, unless Margate fans get a petition up to allow us in , lol, (cant see that happening,..) but we see you in our bar on the 1st of August,..all are welcomed all the best for the up and coming season in the premier league (as im sure you will be)

i cant see it being a problem in the bar ,wat we should do is have a table and a couple of chairs just for your fans.in a corner somewhere so you dont get in the way lol
