I cant belive when this happened the first time, you all knew it was on the cards, I read the PMs, why did you not follow the advice and set up a supporters trust in readiness.

 

If you survive!!! Get one going this time and own shares or at least influence in your club.

Its easier than you think, set up a Supporters Trust completly independant of the club (thats the key)!

 

Raise funds (as much as you can)

 

Then when your club is in trouble step forward with some money on condition you have a say/shares.

 

Thats where you nearly were last time but you let yourselves be bullied out of it!!!

 

I do not know any genuine club that would not let its supporters have a say especially if they are prepared to put their money on the table.

just as wll we did'nt there was a lot of debt there i dont think our efforts would of covered it

Yes but if you were organised a year ago and had a share or two, you could have known and prevented the debt building.

 

And really how much of it was debt and how much was debt on paper and choosing not to pay bills rather than not getting the money in?

I know you are in administration!

 

I know that when a Supporters Trust was suggested on here before, certain parties were very agressive in their condemnation of it!

 

I also know that where there are Supporters Trusts the supporters tend to know what is going on and can get a say!

I seem to recall we were 'advised' that this would not be a good idea at the time.... however that was some years ago now.... we all learn from past mistakes I guess.
