I have been asked by the club to put the following news on the forum and as soon as we can on to the website.

Afc Hornchurch have applied for administration,today the courts sat and have agreed to our application to go into administration.

This will mean we will start the season on -10 points

There is now a process of which any interested parties who want to buy the club out of administration can apply to the administrator to do so,should the terms be favourable.

At present i have been informed that 2 groups could be interested in buying the club out.I do not know who these are but have been told that we should have some more news on this by wednesday.

Obviously next season could be a struggle but its not an impossible situation and depending on who comes into the club,there is no reason why we cannot compete for at least a play off place but we will need to get behind the club like we did in the ESL and ever since.

No consolation but there'll be a few more clubs to suffer in this league too (maybe not with a 10 point deduction though).

 

Players in non league are gonna have to get accustomed to being realistic in their goals for wages because clubs will no longer be able to fund them as they did.

 

If Margate survive relegation - Considering Fishers attempt to set a precendent in overturning a winding-up order then they'll have a head start on others because they've used youth all last season, like the rest of us will be having to do.
