Great to see some silverware, however they made a lot of work of it!

Better team in the first half and deserved the lead but Chalfont really came out at us in the second half and battered us and we could not cope. Lots of nerves amongst the Slough fans (quite a few of them) for the entire half but great relief at the final whistle.

The boys were very professional at the end, celebrating with the title and thanking the fans for their support, shaking the hands of many of us as they went.

Special mention to Chris Sliski, who I was standing next to for the whole second half, who kicked every ball out there tonight, he went through all the emotions and stress and the relief from him was obvious.

Well done lads, you have done the club proud.

Well done lads, a great night, having something to celebrate was brilliant.

Your right about the nerves Barbara spent most of the night looking at the scenery or hiding in the loo!! and as for Mr Sliski what a great supporter.

i am just glad Chalfont only really seemed to turn up in the 2nd half. even then with the 2 quick goals the Slough players upped their games and kept them out well. Chalfont sending many forward always gave us a chance on the break but didn't matter we wasted chances in the end even if Slough lost the game the league was the most important thing

Was just like a cup final with both teams up for it, and it was a good job we had the goal difference to help us.

All you could hear all night was Tony Thompson barking out his orders and Chris S getting more and more anxious with every kick.

Good game played with passion by both sides and in the end a result that made sure Slough picked up the silverware.

Well done to the lads and all involved.

Well done to the boys. I would have liked to go along but unfortunately couldn't - but I've seen enough of their games to know what a quality side they are and I hope to see a few of them in the first team next season. For the rest, it will be good to have a crack at the Premier division next season. Just goes to show how important that 11-0 win was a few weeks ago!
