A great start on the playing front at least.

The only real 'absentee' who i would like to have seen retained is Lacey;and probably Gregory.

 

Best wishes in particular to Ohakam who maybe did not get the opportunity he deserved.

 

An odd one re: peters-does look an error though .

 

Conspicous absentee is also Louis Smith -whats happened there ?

 

At least we can field a team (sans goalie ),and appear on the playing side in a better position than most at this stage to start the season

Been told still some issues to resolve with Peters as he is under 24, hence why he is on the retained list.

Good news on the whole: think we have the foundations of a good squad there. Providing he can pove his fitness, I'd like to see Smithy stay, and also always thought Gregs was underrated - would like to see him stay too

Credit must go to TY and NS -and indeed the Board, for persuading the players to stay at MFC.

 

Can't be a bad club can we if the all wish to stay ?

 

Credit also to the players for chosing to stay and build on last season-they will be so much stronger for it.

Maybe they also feel they 'owe us one' and can do alot better than results suggested last season.

Above al- they perhaps want to do themselves justice.

 

For them vitually al to stay-it implies team `spirit must be good

If Fisher can find the money (or at least some of it) why didn't they stump up before they were wound up? Team Bath mean it shouldn't make any difference to us anyway.

 

Just to clarify on the retained list - is this players who have definitely signed contracts for next season or a list of names the management are going to offer deals to? (May explain Peters situation).
