Both the boardroom and the official website both seem to be suggesting that there was some confusion on the fans part ,regarding Mr Millington remaining as chairman.

No confusion at all on our part!..Mr Millington put out a statement saying:

I am now likely to have to work from the south coast and with already having to travel from deepest South London it would serve the club better if a new chair could be found who is able to give the club the time it deserves. I will in the meantime continue to serve you the supporters and strive to give this club the success it desires.

It now seems the board have decided he is still the best man for the job despite his work comittments,so have asked him to stay on.Which is fair enough.

Best or ONLY man for the job?

and I think you will find that if you ever want to be part of the inner circle the role has to be refered to as "chair" not chairman or person, in case they are seen to discriminate!
