Additionally, the meeting was very pleasent and informative. We all still have lots to do and support to make it all come to fruitition. However, I cant see the Stadium being ready to kick off matches by the first fixture of 2010, I hope i'm wrong.

 

The board also showed they have fantastic diplomats amongst them with the continuos policy of having good partnerships with as many people as possible i.e Burt at Spurs, BorehamWood and John Hall etc etc

Not wishing to be a pedant but the chair did not say that the rumour was on the internet.

 

He just said contrary to rumour the chairman has not resigned.

Not wishing to be pedantic but I didn't say that the rumour was on the internet. I said 'Told tonight that the 'rumour' about the chairman standing down is not correct.

 

Paul's original statement about standing down was put on the club's homepage and details sent to members. That's the fact, isn't it?

From my understanding,i think Mr Millington made a statement last month saying he intended to step down from his role as chairman,but would still be on the board.

 

That seems to be what was said at the meeting.Wasn't it??
