I apologise for going off topic on a Margate football forum ;but i wondered how many people will watch 'the apprentice' tonight when the task is to 're-brand' Margate ?

 

Did anybody witness the filming of the programme ?

i am sure they were filming the cafe just along from primark, (primarni)sounds better, just by the undercover benches. that's it rebrand MFC pink kit, rainbow color flags, TY and NS on the touchline in sequins a gay following from all over Kent crowds would double = more money through the turnstiles = money for players debt payed off...sorted!

Poets Corner hasn't but Byron Avenue has AB:

 

Mr.Butcher's grocer's shop, Billy Hoare's grocer's shop, Mr.Coleman baker's shop and Mr.Woodward's sweet shop have all gone and there are loads of cars there now where I used to ride my bike. This is all in Byron Avenue of course.

 

I bet Mr.Twyman doesn't run the Lord Byron there either - I watched the 1955 Cup Final in there and we had our Coronation Party there (Mr.Coleman made the cakes for that by the way).
