Let's make it happen. Last season was the first in many that i havn't visited New Lodge to see us lock horns so we need to renew the annual friendlies of old from when we were in the Southern and you were in the Ryman.

I was against a friendly with our pals from the County Town last season but this season I would be in favour.

 

The reality is that there is some difference between the two sides at the moment, it would get a decent pre-season crowd down to New Lodge and I would have thought it would be an ideal "competitive" game for Chelmo probably the weekend before the BSS begins. It would also provide an excellent opportunity for Brian to assess how we are shaping up.

 

I also think Rushden would be a good one. Let's hope someone has been put in charge of arranging them this season!!! 3 home, 3 away - that would do for me.
