yes my mistake, the old memory not what it was it seems.

John Ritchie-I believe Tommy Lawrence got him from a lower league club than what Slough was at the time,and turned him in one season to a prolific goal scorer-we had some good strikers at Slough through the years.Gary Abbott would have been his equal on his early years at Enfield.

I think you'll have most of the Hemel team. Steve Bateman's players here are not happy with the new manager so we're expecting a mass exodus, and SB was up here at Vauxhall Road last week recruiting.

yeah would be nice to know fairly soon. last season we had a post that was updated during the summer accordingly as to ins, outs, waiting to confirm didn't we?? not sure how early in preseason that kind of post happened though

 

as far as i know the only 1 we definitely know so far is Roy Gumbs who confirmed himself on here today he is coming back.

Well we don't announce signings on the official site until a player has actually signed their forms. Remember Telemaque supposidly joining which we announced who then went on to start the season elsewhere because he hadn't actually signed on.

 

I'd have thought players will be announced from end June early July when forms are available. Until then a player can do whatever and say whatever.

Frome Town have announced on their website that they have been accepted for the South & West do you have news of who's in and who's out, also Lowestoft Town have announced they are in Ryman North

cannot say i am surprised about Evans. Bateman hardly seemed to use him towards the end of the season and for whatever reason Evans early good performances steadily seemed to get worse

 

great news to sign Edwards to a contract. he will surely help in decreasing the amount of goals leaked. i assume he will sign a contract meaning a transfer fee would be required for another team to sign him?? or is the wording just misleading

 

i trust Bateman to find us a striker or 2 to replace the goals we will lose with the departure of Platty. Romeo staying would mean we only need 1 more striker perhaps as Sealey also does look potential a goal threat
