Ok bit of a pointless topic but if you were Slough manager who would be your realistic starting line up for next season inclluding your transfers.

Mine is as follows:

GK: Jacko

LB: Ryan Parsons (Windsor)

CB: Luke Evans

CB: Yiadom Yeboah (Hemel)

RB: Simon Sweeney

LM: Dean Papalli (AFC Hayes)

CM: Robbie Kean

CM: Jack King (Didcot- Probably most unrealistic but oh well)

RM: Steve Sinclair

FC: Yashwa Romeo

FC: Leon Yarnie (Burnham)

Sure, I'd sign Chennels, King and quite a few others, but really I don't see us signing any of the Windsor first-team squad, and not a player who's just got promotion to the Premier!

Mark, you omitted Edwards, Jordan and Harper to name but three. I know some have doubts about DJ, but I think we'll be seeing more from these guys next season. I also think we may sign another 'keeper to rival Jacko for the number 1.

As for transfers, I don't know but I'd just like to see us turning up to pre-season friendlies with a sizeable squad compared to some of this season's games.

Yeah its steve batemans job, we can still say this though.

Um papalli played left wing against us unless im mistaken.

Um forgot about edwards and harper prob should be there but i ran out of space. As for DJ well he needs to improve an awful lot and i dont think hell be here next year anyway.

Who said this was pointless! My 4 -5 -1 formation would be

In goal

Spiderman - The agility and web making skills will be very useful

Defence

I'll expand on the theory of a flat back four and go for a FAT back four of

Jo Brand

Johhny Vegas

Robbie Coltrane

Russel Grant

Get around that lot if you can!

Midfield

On the right Oliver Twist - At least he'll understand 'seconds'.

In the centre The X-Factor Judges - they'll sit tight together and only the absolute best will get through

On the left Brighton Rebel - Warren is defientely a left winger and Slough through and through. His horticultural skills might also help the groundsman with the pitch.

Forward

Jordan - Danny has had his knockers but where would we be without knockers so it's gotta be Jordan and by that I mean Katie Price. Some might say we'll then be playing with two up front.

Come on you Rebels!

I would wish for:

Richard Teale.

Ian Reid.

Keith Mead.

John Delaney

Ray Eaton.

Steve Thompson.

Terry Reardon.

Bobby Hatt.

Roger Day.

John Richardson.

Joe Adams.

playing 4-4-2 I reckon given the same level of fitness to suit todays conditions, that team would beat any non league team playing nowadays.Sadly they don't make them like that any more.

I wouldn't put John Richardson in the same class as the other players.
