An unbiased view...

Recommended Posts

The game was very competitive, and the conditions didnt exactly suit both teams to play any sort of football. Very windy as well.

Referee (who apparently is getting promoted to Ryman football - Franklin I think his name is, looks like Eminem), was abysmal. So many petty and silly bookings it was ridiculous. Set himself a precident from the first whistle when he booked a Burnham player for a nothing tackle.

The second booking was ridiculous as well for handball, when the burnham player was pushed by the Barkingside football.

All that aside though. Barkingside deserved to win, as they were stronger, battled harder and created more guilt edge chances.

Unbiased view....sounds like the wally had the hump that day.

He abused SMFC and then abused the Cup Final. To top it off, the ignorent swine then abused the whole of ESL in one swoop!!!

Who wrote that article???

For the record, a new covered area is being erected at Southchurch during the summer together with a clean up operation and sufficent turnstile access. Also, it is May....what does he expect the picth to be like....Manor's pitch (up until the awful winter) was in great shape.

With regards to the two 'thuggish' teams....in my opinion, had the referee used a bit of common sense early on, he would not have had to book everyone else for minimal infringements. In my opinion, the ref ruined the match
