I must be bored if I'm doing this......

Best Ground: Cinderford (the grass banks brought back memories)

Best Food: Andover or Paulton (Truro would have got a mention if they hadn't run out of pasties)

Best Programme: Windsor, some great columnists

Best Hospitality: Paulton always have a good setup in the clubhouse

Best Opposing Fans: Bridgwater seemed a good bunch and were very humble in defeat

Best Opposing Player: Justin Bennett (Gosport)

Best Team Faced: Totton

Best Atmosphere: Slough, home game.

Best Game: Maidenhead away, a very high standard game of football.

Worst Ground: Winchester, I hate the way it takes half hour to get the ball back every time it goes out of play. North Leigh also deserves a mention for having a clubhouse that is actually nearer to Oxford city centre than it is the actual pitch.

Worst Food: Abingdon, It is consistently poor there and it always seems to be a evening game when I am starving.

Worst Programme: Don't purchase the away one's

Worst Fans: To be fair the fans in this league are in general a good bunch. Although as Woody mentioned the Vile abuse being screamed at us from a very small minority of Slough fans (the worst offenders seemed to do so from behind the safety of a line of Stewards and a couple of fences) as we left the ground after our defeat is one of 2 incidents I can think of. The other was being told to Fark off back to London by a couple of Cinderford Fans, but that was comedy more than anything else.

Worst Opposing Player: Abingdon keeper

Worst Team: Burnham away in the FA trophy (5-0).

Worst Atmosphere: Paulton Away, we had a fairly decent turn out at that game (as always), it just seemed like everyone had fallen into a coma by midway through the 2nd half.

Worst Game: Beaconsfield at home, from a entertainment point of view it was poor.

Goal of the Season- Best individual effort was Coyne against Slough. Best team goal was Porter's away at Cinderford, a fine move down the right finished off with Porter sweeping a volley into the far corner.

Best Ground: For the Pitch alone Didcot. Really good surface

Best Food: Truro.. fine Pasty! Or Marlow (not sure if they count but they do a good burger with real cheese)!

Best Programme: Windsor's only ones i'v bought.. didn't you used to get a free one at bracknell? I didn't this season.

Best Hospitality: Paulton great clubhouse and good beers. Failing that Truro served a decent pint but loose marks for not having tribute on pump.

Best Opposing Fans: hmmm .. tough one we have had a few in the league this season. Didcot at the playoffs after were clapping ours and thier players in to the bar so good sportsmanship. Or I hate to say it but slough always make noise and the rivalry adds to it.

Best Opposing Player: hmmm tough one. might leave it I can't think of anyplayers that have performed consistantly home and away.

Best Team Faced: Totton or truro

Best Atmosphere: Slough vs windsor.

Best Game: Windsor vs slough!

Worst Ground: Gosport or beaconsfield (purely because the surface has been really cut up whenever we've played there)

Worst Food: Dunno

Worst Programme: Dunno.. Probably the berks and bucks cup one as its the only other one I got!

Worst Fans: Not going to answer this for diplomacy stakes!

Worst Opposing Player: Probably the truro keeper or nickols at beaconsfield both because of attitude.

Worst Team: Chesham (8-1)

Worst Atmosphere: Any game with no away fans.

Worst Game: Slough vs windsor (purely because we lost and was a bit of a turning point for us but final season score 1-1 in the derby stakes is fair I guess)

Goal of the Season: Willow QPR.

I had a quick peep at the slough one last season its good but for an away fan there is nothing much of interest in any other sides programme!

Mal - I may be missing something, is there an index for the season's match reports? I was looking for the League game at home to Didcot - tried ploughing back through the reports, but there's a broken link after Maidenhead so even that doesn't work!

Cheers,

Best Ground: Thought Bridgewater was okay, covered both ends and good clubhouse. Also agree about teh Didcot comment

Best Food: Bridgewater, it was free!!!!!

Best Programme: Windsor's, but didn't read many so not a fair answer

Best Hospitality: Bridgwater, very friendly fans, very sporting and laughing at Woody 'losing' his phone in his own pocket

Best Opposing Fans: As above

Best Opposing Player: The Totton winger that destroyed us at Totton and rinsed Weedon at our place

Best Team Faced: In my opinion Totton, but i guess you would have to concede Truro really are, 8-2 over 2 games, can't say more than that

Best Atmosphere: Slough at home, and in the Stag!!!

Best Game: would have to say what we did to Slough at home was thee best game for me in decades, and maybe the cup final just for the fact we won a cup and showed we can still play

Worst Ground: Strange choice here, but Totton, shocking!! Especially for a team that is clearly looking to go places, their ground also backs on tto the end of the world (You had to be there on the Tuesday night to fully appreciate that)

Worst Food: Abingdon...Every bloody time we go there!!!

Worst Programme: B&B Cup final, shoddy is all I'll say

Worst Fans: I am surprised Slough appear on here, they did exactly what we would have done to them in the same position and were surprisingly loud. I would say Cinderford for genuinely racist comments, they really are stuck in the 1950's

Worst Opposing Player: The defender for Slough that Jake put on his backside and tormented for the entire home match

Worst Team: Burnham in the FA Trophy, poor conditions but they just didn't have a clue

Worst Atmosphere: Abingdon in the B&B or Andover away

Worst Game: Any away Bracknell league game

Goal of the Season- Coyne vs Slough what a strike or Jake's against slough putting two slough players on their bottoms before striking it past the goalie

I disagree. When we beat them we were far more intrested in celebrating with our own fans and players.Even in the stag Windsor and Slough fans were mixing after, those slough fans who didnt go to the other bar!!!

That said it was a small number of slough fans acting like idiots

When we beat them we went top of the league and were more interested in winning the league and promotion, and beating Slough was merely the icing on the cake. Slough's victory and jollytivities were down to beating their superior local rivals and humbling the best team in the area. Their reaction was borne from frustration whereas ours was from an ongoing dominance and continued victories. It was also during the match, if we had met in a bar after the away game I am sure the same fans who had come to the Stag would have been equally as pleasant, from both teams.

Also, don't forget that Slough's fanbase is somewhere in the millions so it really was a very small percentage LOL!!!!

Thanks for the info Mal.

The reason I was looking is prompted by the "Worst Opposing Player" category - I was looking for the nutter from Didcot who tried to murder Joe at the home game - Ian Sampson. I was glad to see that he wasn't in the squad for the playoffs - I hope Didcot have dumped him.
