Yeah well done you windsor boys on winning the cup. I wonder what it looks like ?

On the subject of sloughs marvelous support i think it is only really average to below average considering the history of the club and no more than other ex conference clubs would get if they had a couple of relegations i.e enfield,

If boston or halifax began to drop down even further and had some really crap seasons they would be down to a couple of hundred too. I think maybe we should give other teams a break in this league, having 50-100 fans is okay at this level,windsor desrved more considering the season they had but why have a go at their loyal fans its the general people of windsor who dont turn up.

maybe some more work needs to be done to encourage more..supporters ...not just sit back and hope they come forward...

 

not even a supporters coach to MK ! maybe the club could have helped out with that one..some people dont have cars and the train journey is long and expensive...

 

We do an early season ticket application ..those who aplly and pay for a season ticket early get put into a draw for

considering the size of our town we ourselves could do better fans wise but hopefully it will improve if/when we get our own ground in the town and our team starts performing better consistently getting wins in the league and cups

 

nothing to do with Slough fans whether or not Windsor get good support at the end of the day. we have our own problems to worry about

yea absolutely sliski any idea to get 5/10 more fans to games consistently even would be a success imo. unfortunately its hard to get the "casual" fan to travel out of Slough to see the team

There was a coach but most fans decied to either get the train or drive so the coach was not needed. Also the club is trying to reach out with deals for EVERY game and adverts on radio etc. It doesnt help that Windsor is a well off town so any football fans can afford to go into London to watch their side play or Reading, or Wycombe etc etc etc. Also its more of a rugby town than football sadly...

Ask your mates to try it one day....some will return when and if we ever get going again...or and if we move back to Slough, Woody makes a good point about many go into town to watch the premership/league matches..and boy oh boy it costs an arm and a leg...maybe we should target these supporters to come and enjoy non league football..to show them what their missing...

 

cheaper costs / friendship / social meets / children welcomed / shorter travelling time / just to name a few...and the ablity to change ends at half time.!
