Spare a thought for East Thurrock, they scored somewhere in the region of 115 goals in the season, some 27 odd more than any other team in the league, with one game to play (at home) they are a point clear, a win or draw & they are champions.....guess what, they lost 2-3 to Aveley who are now champions & promoted, so its into the play-offs with home advantage against Concord........guess what, they lost 0-1!

 

A whole season undone in 180 mins......ouch!

 

Concord now play Waltham Abbey in the final after they beat Brentwood 1-4 at Brentwood.

 

Btw Brentwood had the best defence in the league over the season, so the team with the best attack & the team with the best defence will be in the same league again next season, its a funny old game!
