We still have a quarter final in the east of enfield tiddlywinks competition. At least we still may win some silverware!!!

On the basis that we now have a different opponent for the outstanding Middx Super Cup game(from last season, to be played early next), it seems we must be deemed as having won the Charity Cup this season!

 

Maybe we won the Super Cup, too?

Losing to an SAL team is unacceptable, never mind who they are. The home page indicated that we had a stong team out so what happened?

Pretty much the same as when the first team has turned out in the Capital League of late. Although why you'd treat the final game of the season as a training session is a bit beyond me!

 

What I think it does point to is the need for some new strikers, though.

maybe they had to play it, but did not want to play a final, in a competiton that means nothing to any one in Enfield

Maybe next season players just get win bonuses rather than x amount for travel and appearance...then we may see players wanting to win..if they dont they wont get paid...simple!!

It would be nice to see players that want to play the game for the right reasons but for now that would do.

How about if the fans have a bucket collection during each game,and the player we deem 'man of the match' gets the cash.I'm sure that would spur a few on.

 

Or maybe the player gets half the cash, with the rest going to the new stadium fund?

Some of the performances of late would mean that the Players would have to pay the crowd

Quite! Of course the money would on be awarded if we actually won the game.Otherwise all money goes to stadium fund.
