With Staines beating Sutton by a 3 goal margin too, seems Saturday was just setting a bench mark for them.

 

Angels must be disappointed that they couldn't make the most of their home advantage, along with the season's top crowd of 1249 there - losing 2-3 to Carshalton.

I thought Staines were a good side. They broke in numbers, at least 3 every time, and with a lot of pace. There defence was beatable but we just didnt optimise our few chances. That was the first time I had seen them play and can understand why they are where they are.

Interesting final. Carshalton are a real 'rope-a-dope' team, hitting teams on the counter attack. That's why their away record is so good. Jolly is the best striker at this level. However, Staines really do deserve to get promoted.
