Yes sorry Ala, soiry Alex I realised my mistake,was about to edit & correct when I got an important phone call which had me forget to do so. Have amended now.
Incidentally,as mentioned through the season the DVD's are 90 minute games of Margate, played at Ashford v Ashford in the past.

I am naturally delighted to have won such a prestigious competition.

 

When i look at the names on the roll of honour of previous winners of this competition; i would like to say how honoured i am to follow such an esteemed and highly regarded person.

 

I would like to pass on genuine thanks to Cookie for making it all possible and the hard work he has put in to keep the competition flowing and interesting throughout.

 

I would like to thank my parents for their guidance and in particular -my father -who brought me to my first Margate game in the very early sixties-where one of my first memeories was what a fantastic shot Tommy Marshall had -and just how ugly he appeared.

 

My wife for (just about) tolerating my fetish of Margate football club.

 

Thanks to KP and the Sunshine Gang,and the Board for keeping Margate FC's head above water in very challenging economic times-without them-as i see it-there would be no MFC -and a substantially devalued prediction league.

Finally-my thanks to my fellow competitors in the prediction league who provided great competition; and as i found out a few years ago-playing with yourself ain't so much fun.

Obviously things change as summer progresses ,and clubs reveal their squads; but my early current 'long shot ' tip for next season is Billericay .

 

Top 5 in premiership between:

 

Billericay,dartford,,carlshalton,sutton,kingstonian

 

Will probably have different opinion on August 14th but thats as i see it now
