Just had a thourght on what the odds are of you lot getting into the QE by 2010. Well my Townie friends the odds are looking very remote according to the jungle drums I'm listening too . So I'm going to nip off to paddypower and stick a pony on . Looks like the Council Chose the wrong people ,Egg on faces there . biglaugh

Re Clubhouse done up ..... Just to set the record straight the Insurance paid for it NOT GOLDSDOWN HOLDINGS so get your facts right before taking enchores and patting each other on the back on that one .

Dont forget you pay rent next season ,PLEASE BE PROMPT WITH YOUR PAYMENT ASAP . grin

If you want to see the back of us that much, I'm surprised you are not offering to help with QE, rather than indirectly hoping we stay at Goldsdown Road longer.

Perhaps you don't really want us to go at all?

When we do eventually go, next season or the one after, or whenever, your little pub team ( who managed to have 28 supporters for their last home game ) will be left with an upmarket Playing Field style ground with little or no facilities, other than the Club House.

Or, will you want us to keep working on the ground for you ?

And when was the last time that Brimmo beat ETFC in a competitive fixture, or which there have been 4 in the last 2 seasons?

On a more serious note, I'd be wary of the suggestions about the level of wages that Brimmo will be paying next season and the players signing. Personally, I'd be surprised if players (especially those named) dropped two levels for wages that won't last. The embarressing debacle(s) at Ilford a few seasons back springs to mind.

Having said that, a local derby at level 4 in future seasons would be good for the game in the Borough.

One possible problem that I will make public later unless it's solved but I will hold back on it for now.
