Pre-season friendlies

The quicker we can move on the better imo;to avoid any other issues festering.

 

Maybe this season, we can have an early announcement of some reasonably interesting psf's to keep us` going over the next few weeks.

 

i wonder whether TY has in mind a friendly against llanelli or a similar visit to wales as almost transpired last season?

Yes, that's not a lot of time to prepare for next season.

 

As Terry said in his interview, his planning for next season was based on staying up. That changes now - and has to - even with the possibility in some weeks time of a reprieve with things going drastically wrong at other clubs. I guess it's prepare for life in Ryman One South as a priority, and upgrade later if we need to.

 

To be honest, relegation perhaps doesn't change what the team needs - competition for Pat, an experienced centre half, an experienced traditional centre forward and some refreshing of the squad in my opinion - just what the club can pay.

It would be nice if the Urchins could come down to seaside for a pre-season friendly and p*ss up. Hopefully our two clubs can arrange it.

As far as i understand-we are in the same division-ryman south.

 

Still believe there should be a psf against them though to whip up the appetite for local football,rtegardless of being in the same division

 

The sad thing for both clubs is that the Isle of thanet gazette cup may be the biggest prize either club gets near for a few seasons yet

My Pub plays on the pitch next to your ground sometimes, i bet they would love a run out with your reserves in the close season................(mind you they are Div4 in sunday league but are a lot better then there status say, improving all the time)
