you are welcome on here GHA, thats Unc's point or haven't you all sussed it out yet,?

we do however like to keep the footie channel clear from the banter, just our own view on things, there are a good few people that come on our forums that don't like all the drivel, fair enough, that's why we have two.

should be quite busy on here soon anyway given that yours is now censored!!!!

sorry, couldn't resist!! <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/shocked.gif" alt="" />

fanks matt....sour grapes perhaps....or a warning to us little old urchins,,,,maybe he's a good signing....maybe he aint.

Certainly not sour grapes, he made a bundle of errors in the game before and was kicked out the door. Notably being at fault for two of Hendon's goals in the 4-4 at Park Lane, (we were 4-2 up at the time). He could be prone to punching a team-mates lights out too! Remember the Shots/Ricay game during 2001/02? Adedeji & Mark Pye? Maybe not...

...and leave the St. Albanians alone! They are charitable blokes and donated generously to one of our fan's cause last season.

Mark Graham was the other participant in the "rumble at 'ricay" as it goes... Adedeji won it in most peoples eyes but both went for an early bath! They later both pitched up at Billericay, hardly managing a yellow card between them. Mark Graham's a favourite of Borgs so would be no surprise to see them together again soon!

we know about the money raised by the St Albans fans Matt, well done to them for that,

we haven't got anything against them, you may well ask who started it,

they don't seem to like a taste of their own medicine.

its just a wind up to us, they seem to take it all to seriously,

perhaps they should have left us alone, 'Hornchurch Bashing 'isn't as easy as some would prefer to think,

Matt,

I think you will find that he slipped once and the other goal was a ball which he passed back to Ben Chenery who took his eye off the ball and let it run under his foot. I am not quite sure whether we were watching the same game but Canvey were never leading in that game. Apart from that game what else did he do wrong? I think you will find that he did well when he played. It would be an idea for you to get your facts right before coming on to the forum because all it looks like it is sour grapes if you are just looking at one game. He played for Billericay after being released by mutual consent and if you speak to the Billericay fans and even the Aldershot fans, he was highly rated and well though of.

ollie isnt bad.. he didnt play that well for us but he is fast and a bit of a unit.. did seem bit suspect with his head (throupenny head was the phrase aldershot used to describe him).. mind you he did very well at riccay in a back four.. maybe playing in a back 3 didnt suit him.. or maybe he just had a poor start to the season.... as with most players though, when they are on your team you expect/hope for perfection and any small faults are magnified, only when they line up for the opposition can you see how good they really are .. this obviously didnt apply to all our grays rejects, they turned to pony the moment they got there..

I think the attraction for HFC about Ollie is the Prem experience and also being linked up again with chris moore who he played with at 'ricay.....

we played 3-5-2 all last season but I suspect we'll head towards a 4-4-2 next year.....defensively we look good....if we sort out the midfield close season we'll do well as we can score goals...

its an interesting point about players performing at one club and not at another.....personally I think that Managers bring out the best and the worst in players.....
