U18's Game - Tuesday 28th

Police called in at Totton following an altercation with the home keeper and some other players.

Great performance from the youth team which saw them make up the goal difference which Holmer held (they were +8 better than Slough before this game, and six goals scored more). Didn't take their foot off the pedal in the second half and but for some wayward finishing and great goalkeeping could have scored more.

Credit to Aylesbury who continued to play football throughout and can hold their heads high despite the scoreline.

Once again though, poor turnout from the supporters. I think tonight was a good show of what people were missing and there weren't enough there to appreciate it!

Well done to Tony and his team.

Real shame like Gary said ...that not many came to see the last youth under 18's at home last night...

Also thanks to Aylesbury Utd..team.they did not stop trying a credit to them ...not a booking in the whole match , as aylesbury continue to play football and not resort to chopping down our players as many a team would have in the same circunstances as the only way to stop a team..

Slough played some fantastic football last night just ashame they were very few to witness it..

Again thanks to Steve Easterbrook for attending , in fact I think Steve has only missed 2 games all season and this is well appreciated by the under 18's team..

here's to the next game which will be against Holmer Green , a title fixture ~~~~ please note this kick off maybe changed due to the un abvailablity of floodlights #####

will advise asap...regards chris sliski

Sue ..no problems ..you've been home and away with the under 18's and we know your Chelsea Mad...

Its those who said the runing of the youth team was a major step forward for STFC ..but have failed to support the team..

just a bit disapointed ...especially when we have a great team...and thy play some great football.. a real treat...

cheers chris s

woody .not true..we are getting about 30-40 people to the under 18's , not parents..but slough supporters ..just they have been saying for weeks ...to me that some others were going to come along too... in fact we collect enough money to pay the officals so its really quite good...a few more watching a great under 18's team would be just nice..

The anon asked "So SR you havent told us yet whether your money is going to remain in your pocket next season or whether you are going to go to watch slough"

Anon my money is my business, however I will be buying my season ticket and one for my son, as I do not have any problem with putting my money where my mouth is and supporting the club.

And whilst we are talking about money anon, did you put your hand in your pocket and support the Breast cancer game by sponsoring a player?

Also anon I hope you cough up each home game and support Roger Rebels Balmy Army who have sponsored countless games over the past seasons.

I also hope anon, you toss some coins into the collection buckets at the end of the game.

So anon I turn the question on its head and ask whether you are going to be putting your money where your mouth is and buying a season ticket?

Went to the Windsor game actually. Not many Slough fans there, and not many fans at all. Very disappointing attendance despite the Chelsea game.

Didcot defintely deserved their win. They were a bit like what they played against us, solid at the back with Jack King the dangerman and best player on the park. Windsor never really turned-up and were quite long-ball orientated despite them playing some nice stuff against us earlier in the season.

Having said that, must be a horrible way to go out and felt sorry for Windsor actually after finishing second.

Went to Windsor too, just down the road for me. Agreed poor attendance from the Windsor fans. Plenty from Didcot though, but overall poor. I expected circa 400 but not even 300.

Their "2nd best team in the league" deserves better than that.
