Ya see, that the point. He is a "ok bloke" and one I got on with quite well. He was a manager who put together one of the best Billericay sides in the past four or five seasons. And some of the players he brought in have served Billericay well over the seasons.

No doubt he left us for what he thought for greener pastures but he was still a Billericay manager. And a ambitious one (no one can slate him for that). If he took himself to even greener (and higher) pastures, I would be quite proud (is that the right word? Maybe not...but still), that he started his management career at Billericay.

But obviously some think differently...

I have never met Mr Edinburgh so can't comment on him, But it's a bit like Chris Welpdale or indeed Nathan Elder.

A fella would only ever want to see the best for them and it's nice to see post's on OUR forum in relation to past BTFC people doing well. (as long as it's not against us evil )

Good luck to all of the above blokes.

Well Paul, a good manager wants to work with the best and Matt Jones is a very good coach. The appointment of Matt Jones only enhances Justin's reputation, in my opinion.

One day Paul, you'll find something positive to say about the club and the people associated with it. If you do, don't pass it up...share the moment.

Sorry but I'm a confirmed 'glass 1/2 empty' guy & as a fully-paid up 'supporter' I reserve the right........etc

PS Your memory is short - I 'praised you up' for being a consistently 'positive' supporter - C'est la vie !

PS Did ya read about the guy writing a book about the best pies in the footy league ? You missed out there, or maybe you could do the non-league version ?

LOL

Yes TC I do - TO A DEGREE - Whilst Lee's a good player he has NO managerial experience so logically.........However a manager should be just that - a man (or woman !) that can take FULL responsibility & make the right decisions - at the same time taking GOOD advice & listening to sensible comments - Don't forget 'The buck stops here' !

I really didn't get the impression that Edinburgh had the right experience OR took the lead - Sure he had plenty of advisers but that would normally be a bit of a luxury - I may be wrong but has he had any real success since ?

PS I'm NOT a Spurs supporter !
