Thanks for giving us some hope. Our lads will now need to beat Brimsdown at your gaff, on Saturday requiring a win to lift the Title on goal difference. Taking nothing for granted as we will probably struggle dispite the chance to win it to get much of a team out, as the club is in party mood and our presentation is that evening so it looks like the boys will be attempting to win for us.

The ball just didn't want to go in. Off the line twice, a couple of good saves from the keeper and another couple that just bounced off him and luckily cleared the goal.

Most of our Under 18's (who played last night) were in a county cup final on Sunday, some of them played again on Monday night in a friendly versus Libya at Barrows Farm and I think last night was a game too far in the end.

Our team was also our under 18s plus a few under 17s with only one older addition and he is only just out of the under 18s. With a game like that it makes me wonder why we bothered with the senior players this season as I enjoyed it more than any senior game.

I think there were rather more than just 'a couple of good saves from the 'keeper'. Personally, I thought you were going to nick the point you needed near the end, but your player went for power and blasted it straight at Jason rather than pushing it to either side.

I don't know whether the tactic was about conserving energy, but I thought you played far too deep for too long.

It will be interesting to see what kind of side Brimsdown can muster for their game against Aveley.

I was being quite complimentary to the keeper until his mate came around behind the goal in the 2nd half and asked us to move as supporters "shouldn't stand behind the goal as we were putting him off" before threatening to fight me and bring his dad with him??! Very bizarre.

We probably were conserving energy, with only our Player-Manager and one sub on the bench!

I know our boys were gutted but I'm sure some will get a look-in next season for the first team.

That is not club policy as a lot of us enjoy standing behind the keeper and having a bit of banter with them but there have been some miserable gits over the years mentiong no names, Hi Smallsy!!

Bizarre indeed; I understand that pretty much the same thing happened during your Libya game, too.
