even if we do stay in the Prem through other teams problems it's not the same as doing it on the field, don't get me wrong i'll take it but will the same.. on field/off field issues still be with us 2009-2010 season?

Well officialy you guys are Cookie, but as others say you may or may not get a reprieve through someone elses misfortunes, all course your take it, if it comes your way, but it will i feel, feel like a shallow victory!

I GUESS WE WOULD, What i was trying to say Alan was when we had a cup repreieve recently, we pretty much said it be a shallow victory if we went on to win the cup, we got well beaten by Tilbury, and thankfully we didnt get it.. and they went on to win it,.. if Margate get a repreive, i feel some of you guys will feel that, have you deserved it, as you didnt really win it on the pitch... anyway best of luck to all at Margate have a good Summer

what is the best option i wonder? having another bad season in premier or doing ok in the south im sure gates will improve if we can win a few games ,all be it in a div lower

Can understand what you are saying Steve, but I know Terry and Nev had plans to bring in better players for next season, if we drop a league am not sure that will be the case then.

 

However, as you say crowds will improve if we do get a successful team in whatever division we are playing.

I kinda agree with ramsgate60, will a reprieve be the best thing for the club (shallow or not), or would it be best for us to start again with the players (and a few new ones)in a lower league as this season we were punching above our weight methinks

Thing is whatever the outcome of restructure of leagues, wherever we end up, if Nev and Terry are staying they will have more time to put into place plans for the season as opposed to this year when Ashby and Terry both have had to take on what they were given and hit the ground running

The problem here though is that almost certainly, we will not know for definate which league we are in until mid june earliest-so as per past seasons-6/7 weeks lost
