Right now i am in a better mood due to birmingham losing, i've re-injured my ankle celebrating the winner!, can i just say how awful were we today! Shocking is not enough!

Coyne has been poor since he has returned from suspension where is the Ginger Zidane!? Get Fagan at right back. We miss his forward runs SO MUCH. It seems only seeds and cahill have recently been playing well and looking like they want it. We last played at our best against didcot way back in january. Play like we did today and it will be a rout on tuesday. Thankfully Totton lost today to save our blushes of coming 3rd in a 2 horse race!

This is not a reaction to the result today a number of us have said this recently!

Well done on achiving our aim of play offs, a huge well done, but lets not that count for nothing!!

I have to agree with certain points here, and disagree with others. Why we are playing our best right back in years at centre back when we have a decent centre back on the bench i have no idea. But i think Butts and Parsons have played well, Seedel has been consistent, Joe is playing like he always does, Chenns, when he plays, will score when fully fit (and receiving service, as to be fair would Vine, probably). Cahill was okay today and I don't think you can fault Rob. But yes, what has happened to Coyne?!?!?! In my opinion we lost our form when Ryan stopped playing, Fagin stopped doing the overlapping runs (injury I think, but not sure)and we started fitting Bruce into the team. i think Bruce is a terrific player, but it seemed to upset the balance in midfield.

Lets hope they can raise it for the one off matches we have coming up (hopefully three of them) Maybe the concentration will be more intense, the passion greater, the desire and willing more. Or perhaps a dour game, a dodgy penalty and a nail biting finish; cos I'll take that if it gets us promotion!!!!

Put today behind, go along Tuesday and cheer on the team and lets hope we can play how we know we can.

Bad teams don't finish 2nd in competitive divisions like ours. Good consistent teams start to lose form when players look beyond the opposition in front of them.

We have our wish, the "season" is over (as perhaps our players thought the league title was when we lost at Truro)...it's time to beat whoever is in front us.

We'll do that by working our socks off and believing we are a team that has finished above 20 teams in this division this season already.

I agree with Doris. Over the season we have come 2nd on merit. After 42 games you are where you are for a reason. We are 2nd because we are the 2nd best team in the league, Didcot are the 5th best team in the league. We should still be confident going into Tuesday

They say the league table never lies and its true you have been consistently the 2nd best team in the division, not a time for self-doubt. I would expect you to see off didcot, but i think maybe sycob could cause an upset and beat totton.

Would be a good local final then.

I think current form is more relevant going into play offs than that shown over the 42 games, and (without having done any analysis of the other teams' recent results), I suspect we are 4th of 4 in that particular assessment.

Based on the last 2 or 3 months I'll be very pleasantly surprised if we gain promotion to be honest.

I'm just glad Didcot didn't go into the playoffs on the back of a 4-2 win against the champions - DOH!!!!

But it is down to one off games now, we have to perform for 90 mins, and we know what we are capable of. 6-2 against Slough, 8-0 against Chesham, the 45 mins against Truro 2nd half for example. it seems when we are riled and up for it we can really play, but i guess the question is what will it take to get us to that point, before it is too late. And totton's form dropped about 3-4 weeks before ours and they came third, it shows how far ahead we were, and how well we must have played, with more or less the same team.

We need to go back to simple football, passing, use the easy pass, using the overlap from the full backs and showing what we can and have done.

What will happen? who knows, but it will be fun and exciting either way, and a few cheeky ones before won't hurt I'm sure ;-)

PS, just watched the Froch fight, holy F**k what a finish, taylor just fell apart in the last round, unbelievable!!
