Slough Town v Bridgwater

Graeme told me last night that he has been invited back by Steve Bateman, and said he was looking forward to challenging for the play-offs with Slough next season. I hope he does stay as I think he's been outstanding in the 6 games he's played for us.

 

Just to add, thanks to Platty for a great season. It's been good to have a striker of obvious quality, having been trained at Crewe which is renowned for its academy. Let's hope you can come back in the future.

Looking forward to seeing you back the season after next Platty, you have been a very good player for us this year, and a very useful 18 goals too!

 

Would be good to see Edwards return for next season, he looks very good at the centre of our defence.

As others have said, it's been a pleasure to have you with the Rebels this season - I genuinely hope you can come back in the 2010/2011 season. Your goal scoring aside, it's been great to watch you progress through the season - the work rate you put in is first class.

Been on here for the first time in ages.

 

Firstly just wanted to echo everyones opinion of Platty. Top player and hope to see him again in amber (or pink)

 

Was gutted that he wasnt able to start the last game but can understand Bates' reasoning behind it as he isnt here next year.

 

Think Platty has been a model professional this season (maybe ignoring the sulk at abingdon tho! ) and hope he comes on here and tells us which bloody northern whippet lovin club hes involved with next year so we can track his season.

 

Just to follow on from last game of the season just to say i was stunned at how well keeno played, and very pleased to hear edwards may well be with us next year! Those two will be fantastic additions! Shame the season ended just when things were looking positive for a change!
