A very good performance by everyone today. We created a lot of chances, probably could have scored more, and held off Bridgwater at the back well.

Kean, Fenton and Yash were excellent today to name a few, although everyone played their part in a good team win. Sealey looked good when he came on too.

The end of the game bought on clapping and singing from the fans behind the goal for every player in the squad, and even for Bridgwater too, which was amazing considering we have had another pretty bad season.

Well done Slough, it will be interesting to see which players end up returning next season, I'm sure that a few of the players out there today will be back.

Enjoyed the game and it was good to see the team playing as a team. The crowd did seem a little quiet in the first half but were back to normal for the second half, what a pity there was no party poppers.

Lets look forward to a better season 2009/10 and some good football of which we saw today.

Kean was surely Man of the Match with his best performance for us that i have seen by far

Edwards was probably next best with another superb defensive performance. Palace if you do not want him we sure do

Sealey impressed with his quick feet

shame we could not score more but happy we won. Romeo got an absolutely cracking goal volleying up and over the keeper from 25/30 yards

a lot of the players at the end deserved their round of a applause. this 3/5/2 like formation has worked well last 2 games although some of that comes from our opponents having little to play for so its not a completely true representation

nice to go into a pre-season really really positive though having ended the season on a high

Thoroughly enjoyed todays game.

All the players played their part in what was a good performance and we should have scored 2 or 3 more goals.

Pride off place must go to Robbie Keane who had a superb game.

I'm already looking forward to next season, providing Bateman stays and he brings in players of the quality of Keane, Sinclair and Sealey, I think we are in for our best season for a long time.

Apparently only 4 or 5 of the inherited players will be required for next sesaons squad.

So apparently only 4 or 5 inherited players. For me,these would be Yash Romeo,Ryan Fenton,Roy Gumbs,Dean Harper and Jamie Jackson.I would keep Tom Attrell, too.

if only 4 or 5 then the ones i would keep are Romeo, Fenton, Harper, probably Jacko (depending on injuries) and Jordan. Gumbs is worth having to play here and there or at least to chuck on for a 10-15 minutes when we need a goal. of course also any of the youth players who are staying should be kept in and around the squad as well

I wouldn't be so sure about this only 4-5 players thing... Any manager worth his salt would ask the majority of the club's interested players to return for preseason just to ensure he has a decent sized squad to go into the preseason campaign with. I'd be very surprised if we don't see the vast majority of our squad plus a couple of additions come July.

would be great to have you back season after next. your effort levels are something we have rarely seen at Slough the last few seasons in particular up front. don't worry about not hitting 20 goals 18 from you and 15 from Yash is huge compared to what we are used to again the last few seasons. lets hope for a big improvement league position wise though it will be tough to replace your goals i think the team can be well up the league. your return if it happens would be welcomed with open arms. good luck with the rest of the course hope it goes well

Thanks for all your efforts Platty this season. Scored some crucial goals at vital times. Good luck next season.

As for Bridgewater, well could not be there yesterday but great to end the season on a high with two-back to back wins.

However, lets not get caught up in the romance of it all after 2 wins in end of season games. This has been a terrible season, and we've been awful at times. Yes we have some nice guys playing for us, I don't dispute that but wholesale changes are needed if we want to go for promotion next season, so i'd be very suprised if there are more than four (max)from the 'Sweetman era' staying. Wholesale changes are needed if we want to be successful.
