Its just his way of keeping the fans on side

Can no player love the club they play for?
I do agree with you that he must love the wages, as he loves the fans but he can also love the club as well.

yes but its usually the club you support as a boy and grew up with, especially in this country.

You can't love west ham one minute and chelsea the next.

Don't fall for that clap trap that lampard loves chelsea, yeah he probably has a lot of repsect for the club and fans but he will always support west ham, just hates the old management, board!!!

Ok lets agree to disagree.

I can see some of your points thought. But I have supported Chelsea all my short life but have only recently in the past few years starting supporting Tilbury. I now love Tilbury as much as I do chelsea

Well I thought that he enjoyed spreading his 'love' around off the pitch so whats the difference on it or did I get the start of this wrong? evil

Because when he left he slagged the club off. It's all about how you leave the club, especially at West Ham.

Villains include Paul Ince, Frank Lampard Jnr, Jermaine Defoe and to a lesser degree Yossi Benayoun, who agreed to a new five year contract then left.

Heroes who are always welcomed back are Rio Ferdinand, Joe Cole, Michael Carrick and most recently, Carlos Tevez.
