Southampton docked 10 points

I know it is nothing to do with Margate but it just shows how bad things are now.

 

The number of clubs being docked points, having financial difficulties, at every level is almost reaching farce proportions.

 

It is so sad for the supporters but what really is the answer - mind you if any of us knew we would be worth a fortune, which we could then give to a club of our choice I suppose.

Should do what Spurs did when docked points in '95 threat the FA and everyone else with court action and they got let of

See the FA used 'Forensic'Accountants to investigate.

 

Never heard of a Forensic Accountant before or is it one who investigates dead acounts.

I think they should be relegated to Ryman 1.

 

 

 

 

Coincidentally, that would mean saving 19th in the Ryman Premier.

No win situation for the Saints as far as I can work out.If they win their remaining two games & by doing so,possibly avoid relegation,they will THEN be docked 10 points anyway (this season).

Should they (on the pitch) FAIL anyway to get the required points then they get the 10 points deducted next season. Bit harsh I would have thought,but then I don't know all the ins & outs of the situation.Question is,are they going to put everything into those two games now I wonder.The players,but moreso the supporters must be feeling really really down after this decision.
