Enfield Town Ladies are now the proud holders of The Isthmian League Womens Cup after winning an 8 goal thriller (We were thrilled to score them all) at the home of Merstham who were the opponents in the final.

 

Next up is the Middlesex Cup final against Barnet at Uxbridge this Sunday (26/4/09)followed by a home League cup semi-final next wednesday (29/4/09)and hopefully the final the next Sunday (3/5/09). Then Sunday 17/5/ is the last league game away to Gillingham.

Lost 4-1 against Barnet in the Middlesex Senior cup final with the scores level and ten minutes remaining a penalty that even Howard Webb would have thought twice about started a 3 in 7 minutes goal burst by Barnet.

 

The Reserves earlier lost the Middlesex Junior Cup final 3-1 against Barnet with Barnet only getting their third 30 seconds from the end of the game against the run of play.

We won our Semi final 3-1 against Gillingham and know play Lewes at Bedford Town this Sunday with a 2pm kick off.

Unfortunately we lost the league cup final 1-0 to Lewes and Luton won their league match in hand to go top of the table with one game each to play. We had been top of the table for 6 months.

 

Luton host Welwyn this week before we travel to Gillingham the following sunday for the last games.
