New teams for the ESL

When do the FA make up their minds on what teams are moving where for next season?

Just a few of the teams that have been mentioned for next year

Witham Town, Wivenhoe, FC Clacton, Tiptree United, Bethnal Green United,Braintree & Bocking, Leyton.

Could be exciting times for the ESL.

Im pretty sure youll get witham and Tiptree , but not sure about any of the others. Id love to see the ESL as a proper 20-22 team league and im sure all the teams involved would aswell.

Cheshunt have big problems . Could need a level 5 bolthole next season.

sorry have cheshunt, clacton, leyton and the others resigned from their respective leagues??

teams cant just leave one league to join another,certain proceedures have to be followed,you have to resign from your present league by a given deadline and apply to join the new league by such a date as well,braintree and bocking have they finished top 2 in a step 6 league?

theres absolutely no foundation to any of the above rumours but hey dont let the facts stand in the way of a good story.

Witham = relegated

Tiptree = well known that they applied for ESL

 

As for the others, well leyton and cheshunt rumour i think is nonsense. We have cheshunt this saturday , ill ask a few of their players!

witham will no doubt get a reprieve like ilford have the past 3 seasons.

There will be plenty of reprieves come June..and rumour has it there may not enough qualified clubs to fill spaces at Step 4 anyway..

Nope.. still have to be in top two..and Enfield have withdrawn/failed their application.. But this is the FA we are talking about and the rules seem to change annually..

I have heard that Leyton are supposed to be skint. They still haven't paid us our FA Cup money from September!
