What an extraordinary game at Wodson Park tonight,Eton Manor played just the same as in the Cup Final last season , no concerns about the pedigree of the opposition , just a top rated team performance that may well have seen more goals but one was enough in the end, scored by Courtney Linton in the 63rd minute to keep the 1893 roadshow going until their last game at London Apsa on Thursday to secure runners up spot .... unless, in this very nervous end of season for the main contenders, they lose 0-13 !

 

Enfield 1893 may have lost the game but are winners in the strawberry cake stakes - scrumptious !

didnt get no strawberry cake when i went there,what is it with the cucumber sandwiches? the only place cucumber sandwiches are ever eaten is in ESL boardrooms and Oscar Wilde plays.

They might have been for an intended celebration I must admit but at least you can look forward to next season, Richard, when I understand the hospitality will be even better at Broxbourne Borough ! Not sure about cucumber tonight but Reg Curtis was eating Prawn sandwiches - and that can't be bad !

Maybe as it was technically an Eton Manor home game, Enfield may have received a reduced allocation
