Hendon were pretty much safe anyway, it would have taken a miracle for them to get relegated as they have a superior goal difference over us, Hastings and Boring Wood

Not quite, we needed a point for our superior goal difference to count - we were only two points and 13 goals ahead of you before last night rather than five and 15.

 

Must admit, I'm glad we did it last night, because I didn't fancy our chances if we needed something on Saturday. With the pressure off now, we probably stand more of a chance of spoiling Carshalton's party.
