Ressies won 2-1. Jackson and Roberto played the first half, Joe Taylot, Aaron Quain and Gregs played the whole game. Scored early on by Shane Brown after great interplay between Joe and Sam Cliff. Looked like we would get a hatful but good defending and keeping by Ashford kept us at bay. They got an equaliser late on in the half, thanks to an own goal. Second half could have gone either way but Curtis Winnett (2nd half sub), once again rose to meet a cross and headed powerfully into the net, his 8th goal in just 11 games.

Jackson and Gregs looked solid in midfield, Roberto, as usual, made some great runs and crosses down the right. Joe was strong up front and but for some good keeping could have scored a couple as indeed Aaron could have, he took on people last night showing his undoubted skills.

Sam Cliff also showed a lot of pace too and got around the defence numerous times linking well with Joe and Shane Brown. Ollie as usual solid looking at back.

Was a good game, We showed go attacking play in both half's which is good with the reserves in the team pushing for first team opportunities. Both goals were good for us as you said good play for the first goal and good work by aaron down the left then a great ball met bravely by curtis for the 2nd. But seemed to pick up a few nocks last night, aaron, rob lamore and curtis seemed to limp off?

I havn't watched the reserves very much but if anyone wants to see a good game then I can recommend that they go along to watch them.Last night I thought they were excellent, the first 25 minutes the passing and movement was excellent and was as good if not better than any football the first team have played. We should have been 4-1 up at half time.

In the 2nd half Ashford to their credit came back in to the game and put us under pressure which we dealt with very well.Ashford showed that they are also a good team,so even more credit to us to score again and get a thoroughly deserved win.Well done lads and of course Mark who is doing a brilliant job.
