Just seen this on the Woking F.C website:

 

COMBINED COUNTIES CUP FINAL

 

Woking FC are aware that there have been some negative comments about the fact that the Club will not be hosting the Combined Counties Cup Final this year. The Directors would like to explain the background to this matter.

 

Despite the Club having a booking for a party in its main hall that evening, it had assured the League that the Club

I was chatting to a Woking supporter at Meadowbank last Saturday. He occasionally visits us when Woking are away.

 

He said the general atmosphere at Woking at the moment amongst supporters is pretty dire !

I thought the only thing that could stop a person being involved with the running of two clubs was if it could be proved there was a 'Conflict of Interest', generally on a financial level ?
