Maybe we should just ask the Charcoal Grill to sponsor us then?

So, reading between the drivel (and the usual thinly veiled insults for no obvious reason) are folk really saying that it's not even worth a shot?

That sounds more than a little defeatist to me!

Is it not better to try and fail than not to try at all?

On the other hand this could be the best 'I told you we'd be better off staying in the ryman' thread that there has ever been!!

So, ignoring your drivel and reading between the lines you've come up with a conclusion which is... tired

Ofcourse not Westie wink And, when you are ready to join in with the debate and add to it in a progressive way, let me know.

Read it properly and you'll see i advocate going for promotion because what is the point of being in a league if you don't want to play the game?

But, the essence of this thread is to see if it is actually plausible for our clubs to go to that next level?

I agree totally and feel that I have given good reason to go for it.... I certainly read it properly that's for sure!

The point is promotion. Simple as that.

I didn't see Hull thinking they were going to win the Prem this season, but they entertained at points and gave a good account of themselves.

What more can any fan ask for?

Mental, you are getting a lot of things right. You've added positively to the discussion thus far...

The key is your positivity. Keep it. If you fight for your club. Try the best you can re coaches and supporters club, keep the momentum and interest going without the bolx of those dragging it down you are halfway there. If things don't work out as well as you hope, it wont be for the want of trying. cool

try not to take too much notice of forums although i do get dragged into the odd arguement from time to time wink

the most important things happen on the pitch and at the club not on hee, same as that bird forum, most important thing is what i see with my binoculars and scope, not what some old cvnt says on his computer

Mental, you are a contradictory Mental *shakes head...* smile

With that comment you will have managed to alienate 100% of the audience you are trying to reach.

these forums are best used for promoting things, winding people up,yes they can be informative and a weapon to discuss things but actions speak louder than words

In truth, not everyone knows you.

The internet is a mighty weapon, it can be used for the good or bad. cool

in truth the majority on here do know me,i always introduce myself at games whether i have had a spat with people or not

most of the esl bpys know me,most margate, ramsgate, romturd, few ricay, all the clubs we have come in contact with know most of our fans as we are extremely welcoming

All i am saying is that whatever is posted on here is imiterial once you get down the relevant club and watch the games, here is opinions,on the terrace is here and now

the club house is just an important weapon if so more so than the forum, more people read what goes on in the club house,on here its just a few

I'm not disputing that Mental. I think you are the best supporter to have at a game. So forget the bolx and just concentrate on doing what you can do best. Even your internet postings are blurry funny when you haven't got a hand up your back.

So, back to the thread. None of us know the true cost of going up a level. I'll try and find out. Maybe you can do the same. Like Ronan posted earlier, he'd like to know too - and that's from an outsiders point of view. There are people interested in knowing...
