I was asked at the Ramsgate game if I knew what the difference between Barry and Terry's results were:

 

Barry P15 W3 (20%) D3 (20%) L9 (60%) Points 12

 

Terry P28 W10 (36%) D4 (14%) L14 (50%) Points 34

 

I think from the above it proves the Board made the correct decision especially the form shown since the New Year.

Whilst i now agree-particularly as there is continuity for next season,i don't think we should be too harsh on BA.

 

He had to pick up the pieces from scratch-and indeed;even then over the first 11 league games in charge;i don't think there is much difference in their comparative records-and it was similarly improving under BA;and for all we know-may have got beter still.

 

So yes-i agree, that it was a difficult and in the end-correct decision; i still reckon BA will make it as a good manager given a freah opportunity and wish him well.

 

I look forward to further progression next season under TY's obviously very capable guidance and just hope it will be in the ryman premiership.(if we do remain in the current league-i'd settle for mid table next year-no false illusions )

Now that would be interesting if BA went to ramsgate.

 

I don't think there is a vacancy however as they already have a capable manager.

 

I do rate BA and if nothing else; at ramsgate if the ability to swear loudly is a requirement-BA has that qualification

Not sure BA did much for us, he was certainly vocal and I do not believe that helps greatly cetainly winds up officials and opposition supporters, TY style far more effective has respect and is approachable, great news that he will be with us next season whatever happens.

In fairness the so called scottish to$$er thought he had done one over us when he nicked a Margate reject pre-season...turned out to be a good defender. NOT! We got Liam Harwood instead, wise move Jim. "strongest squad ever" I think he said. Certainly got to be very strong to hold that league up by so much of a gap.
