Same old problems, dire game - but great to see Matt Game!!

 

Paul Shave must be player of the season now after another awsome 100% performance ( although to be fair he does not really have a strikers touch with his feet) If we can get another 10 of Shaveinho next year we may have a half decent team.

 

Poor performance by keeper again who seemed to let in a soft one.

 

Bring on next year, we can always hope

Very end of season feel about the game I thought. First half was almost as bad as last Monday's.

 

Well taken goal from Wareham but we were asleep for the free kick they equalised from.

 

Injuries didn't help us again with the second half played without a recognised striker on the pitch. But I agree - good to see Matt Game back.

I thought we were far and away the better side but as Sticks said we switched off for a second and that was enough for them to nick an unwarranted equaliser.

 

In the first half it just didn't work with Shavesie and Burbs, I think maybe we should have got one (or both) of the wingers much narrower as they had the pace to profit from any of the knock-ons. The one time we did manage it Wareham nearly scored.

 

The change at half time was not a surprise and I felt we created many chances and played pretty well. However once both Wareham and Okojie had gone off we looked much less likely to score.

 

Couldn't agree more about seeing Gameo back on the pitch. Hopefully this time it's not a false dawn.

 

I thought it was a decent effort myself, especially as we were missing 39 goals worth of strikers - I was surprised Etchells was selected over Frankis in that regard. Hopefully we can sign off in a decent style next week.

I thought we looked comfortable all game but the first half where JL has hit the nail on the head for me.

 

Again, the second half was better when we made the change and deserved to goal. I thought their goal was well worked but could've been defended better if we were a little more alive. We really need to get rid of the habit of being alseep at crucial times during the game.

 

Nice to see Gameo on. Nearly scored and what a dream return that would've been for the little guy.

I'm sorry BUT I believe yet another poor substitution decision that cost points ie taking Dee off - He was by far our quickest & most skillful player & should've stayed on.

I also thought that was rather a strange move. But great to see Gameo back and getting stuck in as soon as he arrived.

 

Also pleased to see Shaveinio get POTM yet again well deserved (IMO) of course

Ide was knackered running the channels and the substitution was required but I would agree that we lost the pace up front when he came off.
