Don't worry Coachie, you can have a good look at tomorrow's edition and correct all the obvious and glaring errors contained therein.

So what?

During the course of tomorrow's game, from the time the teams trot out at 2.55 to when they come of the pitch at 4.55, around 220 people in the UK will either be diagnosed, be treated for, or die of a form of terminal cancer.

In that same period, approximately 2,400 people, in a world where food is thrown away and people paid to destroy foodstuffs, will die of starvation. 2,400.

And you're worried about what may or may not be written in a football programme in an obscure English county league, attended by probably 30 people, and read by even less?

Why not think about that tomorrow, 5 minutes in, try to work out how many people have died since kick-off and see how irrelevant what you do or think really is in the scheme of things.

Stick to the subject and no rigmaroles.I have read some of your comments in the Basildon Utd match programm this week and it ain't funny. For your knowledge mr Pontificator my team has won the ESL sportsmanship award in the last 2 years and i'm proud of the fact that i have never been sent off as a player or manager.Wash your dirty mouth before spouting comments.

Coachie, I don't care, if you don't recognise the pointlessness of what you do, then that's fine, keep deluding yourself that anything you say or do regarding football is of any relevance or importance in the world at large. It isn't, of course, but so what?

Like I say, I don't care now, I simply do not care. Thank you.

You don't seem so philosophical when filling in those match programmes, slagging other clubs supporters and managers off.Do us all a favour, stick to the match reports and you'll be fine and also don't hide them behind your 2500 or 400 in a minute things!

Totally outplayed in the first half,2-0 down, then a player down after two deserved yellow cards-persistent fouling, verbals, poking the finger in the face of the official as well as raising his hand to him-and what ROMFORD followers do?
Of course blame the referee,it can't be anything else. The second half reaction was extraordinary. One very marginal decision went against them and all of a sudden it was like a scene from the miners strike. Not just from one or two people, this was a mob of over 30,all shouting abuse bluer than a,well blue thing, and completely oblivious to the fact that the ref was getting most of the decisions right. The concerted chanting of "cheat, cheat, cheat!" was beyond belief as was the genuinely threatening, menacing behaviour as the officials came off.If i was a ROMFORD follower i would have been ashamed and just walked out!

For the sake of clarity, here is the article in full, each word of which I stand by.

Some people say that he's being stalked by Suzi Perry

Others say that he played the disturbed truck driver on the video for 2-4-6-8 Motorway.

All we know is that he's

Groyne From The Ghetto

So here we are, the stadium lap at the end of the marathon. Whilst there's undoubtedly been some high points along the way, the consensus from the players and officials is that we can't wait for the season to end. In a year where we've more than doubled our previous points total and shot up the table, as well pulling off some shocks in the FA Vase, why the hell should we feel like that?

I tell you what it is. It's bloody hormones. Not women's, that's far too easy a target, and always been the subject for many a crap joke. It's the men. Forgive the irony, but when it comes to football they're like a bunch of bloody old women.

First of all the players. Within 30 seconds you can hear the first 'Oh, yeah?', aimed by one opponent to another, with an appropriate hand gesture. Before the minute's out you get the first expletive, normally aimed at the ref or linesman. Before 10 minutes are gone it's like a bloody playground, full of kids trying to show how much and how loudly they can swear.

Where do they get the inspiration from though? Yep, you've guessed it, the managers and coaches on the sidelines or in the dugout. Some ESL managers, like Crossy or Fenners, are famous for being able to kill a bird stone dead from 3 miles out with one carefully shouted f word. The rest aren't far behind, especially one with a Latin temperament. His abuse of the officials of one recent game, and of an opponent had the temerity to try to shake his hand, was particularly embarrassing. The perceived slight was a penalty (shove to the ground followed up by a handball) was so obvious that you were wondering if he was going to go the whole hog and get the piano wire out. If managers can't behave how can you expect players to?

That pales into insignificance compared to those the other side of the railings, the supporters. My God, these blokes must either be severely hen pecked at home or must still be virgins even though they're in their 50's. Nothing else can explain the tirade of Anglo Saxon that emanates from the stand or enclosure during the course of 90 minutes. Worst culprits for this are Romford. What is their problem? I was lucky enough to see them at Southchurch Arena the other day. The supporters, that is, not the team, who were abysmal. Their fans were a spectacle to behold though.
