christianTroy
With Hillingdon Borough bing relegated does anyone know what league they will be joining next season?
buck rogers
will they still be running ??? very doubtful!
Rhodes
Buck Rogers - What makes you say that, have you heard something on the grapevine. Losing Ruislip Manor in the area was bad enough but Hillingdon Borough would be unthinkable.
christianTroy
ok lets say they will be up and running next year - for arguments sake. Would they join the ssml?
Horace
I suppose the final decision is the National Leagues Committee's , so that numbers in the various Step 5 leagues are fair. Probably Hillingdon have made a plea for a particular league which might or might not be taken into account! Hope that helps!
Manorborn100
I suspect one of the four options below in the order listed. 1. Join SSML 2. Fold 3. Join Combined Counties 4. Reprieve due to other clubs folding / taking voluntry relegation.
buck rogers
option 2 or another team takes over the existing set up.
buck rogers
unfortunatly for hillingdon they dont seem to have the same backing as in previous seasons. Its all about money for the 'clubhouse' and astro company.even the u18s are a team just playing under the name of hillingdon .
Rhodes
So I take it Hillingdon Borough will definitely be in the SSML Premier Division next season, have they resolved the issues that were threatening the Club's future
Rhodes
A member posted yesterday suggesting that Hillingdon Borough were in trouble and could fold, is there any truth in this rumour as if so it would be very sad, the Club are steeped in history: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hillingdon_Borough
Horace
Why have you dug up this three year old thread, when the matter is already being discussed elsewhere? There are no Civil Service filing conventions to be followed on this forum!
