1st meeting got postponed after about 30 minutes due to not knowing what is going on at the club,we have our next meeting which is scheduled for the 28th may at the moment although this may be moved forward once we get some concrete news on who is going to be running the club

we had 2 people come in to the meeting with some information and it was decided by all to re convene at a later date,thats why nothing was posted on here about the meeting,plus i am also having problems getting on to this site at the moment so i've been quiet on here

 

Another forum has been set up by urchins youth a few weeks ago where the fans are in control of the forum and there seems to be no arguements and issues regarding logging on and i know a couple of others have said they are having similar problems to me.

It is not the intention to replace fans focus with the new forum but an alternative message board while various problems are being sorted out and we can moderate it should anything get out of hand,please no slanderous comments on there though

Been away for a few weeks, sorry to hear that the club is in problems again.

 

What are the objectives of the supporters club?

 

Is it to promote the club, provide community, away travel and matchday volunteers ?

 

Or to be a financial support to the running of the club?

 

Reading the threads the one thing that it has already done is make Mentalist seem the voice of reason .......... A miracle !

 

As an observation it seems a pity that the club did not go into administration before the end of last season and take the ten point hit for last season.

 

This would have meant no chance of a play off place, but a mid table finish.

 

To take the hit at the end of the season meant if promoted starting Conf South minus ten, surely relegation waiting to happen or handicapping the next Ryman Premier campaign.

A lot of truth in what you are saying Lurchin and the idea of the supporters club is to hopefully achieve every thing you have noted and hopefully more.

 

At the end of the day we can only react to what has happened or what is happening but it would be great if you could get back down the club along with some other faces that have disappered.

 

Onwards and upwards.

We are still waiting for information, like the rest of the supporters. Once a couple of things are confirmed we can start some preparation for the coming season. Until then we are sitting waiting.
