Its funny when you think about it that rivalry in football is rife and can be a bad thing and cause alot of trouble but i have noticed on the forum how much surport from other clubs Margate is getting in there quest to stay in this league and win there stay of execution for another season .

I would like to thank and hope other MFC fans will follow me in thanking Hornchurch , Tonbridge , Dartford , Dover and in our hour of need even Canvey fans chipped in with there keep the points issue if they help you out .

Thanks alot guy and we hope to be playing you all next season .

margate deserve better than ryman one,at worse they are a ryman prem side,but in all honesty they were getting bigger crowds at ashford in our inaugaril season in cnf south than ramsgate are now

harlow are sh1t,i hope they go down,heybridge have taken 4 points off us this seaosn,the worst team we have played,its seriously fckd up,you are better than those teams and teams like ashford

Love to read the bitchyness from the navy boy, what ever he thinks he knows that Margate are the bigest club in Thanet and second to Dover in East Kent, look at the attendance figures, is it third highest average attendance in the league or fourth? accept it, we have been in the Conference, we have beaten league clubs, we have been televised and we are the only team in Thanet likely to return to the higher non league levels.

 

And that is an objective view not one fron cloud cuckoo land !!

Ramsgate have also been to the Conference, or it's equivalent anyway. Likewise we have beaten league clubs and been on TV. You've been getting in the 300's/lower 400s this season, not the sign of a massive club in my eyes.

neither team is likely to progress in the forseeable future unless one finds a benefactor with a bit of money which is highly unlikely .so we have to get used to the fact that for both clubs it is used to be
