BOARD DECISION TIME.

It is NOW time for the ETFC Board to stand up and make a decision regarding the 2009 - 2010 Season.

 

This will be a very important season for the CLUB.

 

Please don't wait until July and then sign another 80 players.

 

NOW is the time to announce who will be Manager and allow him to select HIS Squad, HIS players from the current squad, select HIS player he wants to sign etc etc.

 

For the sake of OUR CLUB Please do it NOW.

Personally I would like to see a new man at the helm, with maybe with SM & SB coaching, an experienced head who can MANAGE the players.

agree with gazza. if we waste the summer and have huge player turnover we wont go up next season, whcih is goign to be a problem when we get to the QE2

I think you will find Steve Browne did this himself in the Gazette 2 weeks ago by saying the players were playing for their places in the team next season!

New broom. I personally feel there are far too many people in the dug out. Do we really need so many? Too many cooks, etc.....

 

I mentioned it earlier that I was not impressed with what went on after the game. I certainly feel enough is enough and it's time to move forward and if that means new new management, then so be it.

The best thing the board can do is continue with the present management team, who have brought in some exceptional players since December and now have the summer to add and restructure the squad to a position of strength rather than the present potential.

I was'nt at the game but we usually have the gaffer, his assistant and Mickey the coach plus the sub's.

surely the manager and one coach is enough, the most important person to have there is the coach

The most important thing is we have had 3 in there since December and it has been functioning ok. So if the management are ok with it then I dont see the problem, in fact its irrelevent.
