Who Has Va-Va-Voom??

Recommended Posts

Zeal's Top 5 People With Va-Va-Voom

1. Ruud Van Nistelrooy - Top goalscorer in the Premiership last season, beating Thierry Henry to the Golden Boot by one goal!

2. Jay-Jay Okotcha - Architect of Bolton's revival from 0-2 down against Arsenal, to rob the Goons of two priceless points

3. That Ref Wiley - Definitely got some va-va-voom for awarding United 7 penalties last season, ensuring they beat Arsenal to the title

4. Some Macedonian bloke - For scoring from a corner and making Seaman look like a total [****!!****]

5. Ole Gunnar Solskjaer - For getting Judas Campbell sent off, costing the Gyppo's the championship!!

Anyone else??

May be an Aussie twat but scored the winner for Leeds at Highbury to deny Arsenal the title.

Any Valencia player for knocking the Gunners out of Europe.

Auxerre. Remember they beat the Gunners at Highbury 2-1 in the Champions League when all Arsenal thought they had to do was turn up to win.

Very, very funny.

re: Des Walker - I presume you're referring to his latest own goal, mde, as opposed to the glorious one at Wembley back in '91.

Nothing should be read into the fact that Des is a boyhood Spurs fan... <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />

wasn't des responsible for that holland goal at the end of grahams taylor reign, where he gave away the free kick then just strolled away from the ball while they took a quick free kick n got in behind him to deliver a killer cross.... or is that an exert from one of my kylie dreams?

As I've said before...why is it that so many Spurs fans I know (and now, more and more general football fans not just Spurs) care more about the [****!!****] losing anything and everything and finishing second in the league, more than they care about how their own side(S) do??

Jay-Jay Okocha. He's so good they named him twice. Bit strange that you're called Jay, considering you're a w#####!! - taken from a text sent by someone I know to someone called Jay.

Fair enough...

I saw the other day that Henry's goal against Spurs was goal of the season. I overheard a Spurs supporter yonder table saying 'it wasn't that good a goal, I mean he only picked it up on the half-way line, and he didn't exactly have to beat anyone to score.'

Firstly, he was about 70/80 yards from goal. Secondly, if you're playing football and you see a big space in front of you, you don't go off on a tangent and run at the nearest opposition player, even if he's behind you. Thirdly, the way he finished the run, he beat three Spurs defenders to put the ball away. Very nice.

Zeal. Is Keller going to be there next season?

...same thing with Liverpool in the 70s/80s
