Probably the most important derby game for a long long time , they know we have to win and boy do we have to , we know they want to beat us and help send us down with them so it is going to be tense and nail biting so please guys for the sake of the team tomorrow lets help the lads as much as we can , no bickering no shouting off , its hard i know but if we can all pull together on this one and win i will be happy to walk out the ground knowing we are still in the hunt to stay up and not down with the tots .

Well we at Ramsgate are gonna be up for it, for different reasons of course, we are already down, no real bantering from Margate as yet i see, maybe its because you guys are not safe yet for sure i see a dull game, as the players will know what it means to the fans, so it be a real nervous game, our guys want to win it for us, and your guys will wont to win it for your survival hopes, i feel you guys will be alot more nervous than us, our seasons over, we only have this game to look forward to, if we win , great we have done the double... (I dont think it will relegate you but certainly you will have one foot in the door) if we lose, then its good luck on your last 2 games... .. i personally see a dull 1-1 draw here (which wont help you much either) with very little goal mouth action....well we are in Ryman 1 next season , if your there or not remains yet to be seen,.. (maybe tommorrow,.. we will see,)...both set of fans will certainly be up for it im sure....hope for a crowd of at least of 1,000 from the Thanet area,.. on what may be the last time Ramsgate and Margate play for a while.........

Not a bad mood John just somethings said don`t need to be said at times, there`s a right time and a wrong time and this is the wrong time at the mo . Now if we were winning people would be 10 deep at the bar waiting to by them a drink .

 

At the most important time of our season its critical that we all try and act as one because if we don`t we`re gone , finished so as UM says be positive .

 

Ive suported football and been a fan of the game all my life but ive not played since i left school 25yrs ago so i don`t know what the pressure of a footballer at the wrong end of the table feels like , and i bet its not a good feeling . Its alright to be a fan but if you have never played the game and feel the feelings then how can you critisize someone for being human , WE ALL CRUMBLE AT TIMES IN OUR LIVES our players are crumbling but at least we could try and stop that for the last 3 games of this season .

I think tomorrow is bordering on the academic - both sides are now going to finish in the bottom four. All we can do is try to nick fourth from bottom and hope for resignations and liquidations elsewhere.

Crowd could be below 1,000. I doubt if we'll have much more than 800 fans. Rams are only getting 150 at home so they won't bring many.

If we go for it from the off tomorrow we will win, Ramsgate players will be down and have very little confidence about the fact that they are going to be in a league lower tomorrow. If we stay behind the team for the whole 90 mins we will win, it means so much more to us then them.

 

We are the Mighty Margate and in 24 hours we will be singing We Are Staying up!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

 

Lets be positive, the players won't want to hear any negativity, we can't change the results of the games that we've lost they've gone and are in the past, but we can win the games that we have coming up if we get behind the team. Our season starts now and our aim is to win the league.

Well said Alexmfc, it's just that kind of positive attitude we need. I for one will be there tomorrow cheering everyone of the Margate 11 on.

 

So go on you lot, forget what has gone on before and support the lads for one final push, come what may.

Thats easy to answer Alex, when our goalkeeper or even one of our defenders hoofs it as far as he can im sure one of your centre backs will get a header to it and send pat mullins the wrong way. Good luck Margate no doubt the thanet derbies will continue next year in the ryman south
