Can't see any other reports from the game from people who were ther so here is my go from an excile who was there.

 

Let's get it clear Mullings cost us game again. May be only one goal his fault but it then gave the defence no confidence and the pressure paid in the end.

 

First half mostly us. One cleared off the line and yes the enevitable one on one which somehow Kenny passed instead of shooting.

 

Near the break Mr. Mullings goes on manouvers and is in no mans land and the winger flicks it in via thwe post.

 

Second half all us to be honest. We contrived to lose after it was won. Brilliant goal by Gregory wonderful header. Fantastic cross by

Joe Healey. Peters get played through and beats the keeper well. 2-1 well in charge. Long punt from their keeper and mass panic. I think Robbo should have headed it player runs through 2-2. Then Kenny is subed. Joe Taylor has wonderful opportunity for 3-2 but really freezes and the keeper makes easy save. Nothing from the corner. Then we are under the cosh. Pat drops a cross ping-ping and a wonderful clearence off the line.

 

Sadly they carry on the pressure and another punt forward causes panic. 3-2 fans on the pitch they are in cloud nine. We must have had 10 chances to their 5 and we have lost. Sad for my beloved club at present. Yorath virtually speechless after. This will put untold pressure on our good home form.

Yes a good summary of the match Geoff,defensive blunders again.

Yes and they will continue now that the pressure is on. Mullings may well be found out again. Very nice lad but not good enough. As i say its Ashford all over again.. Great run in Feb. followed by a shocking run is very similar to now. It looked good two weeks away but tha MANNER of these two defeats has really knocked the stuffing out of players managers and the fans.
